The man on this bed is paying for the right to choose. That right now costs twenty dollars a month and involves no women whatsoever.
Watch how the shot is built. The camera never moves. It sits at the exact height of someone lying down, and everyone who walks in adjusts to it.
Nobody looks at the lens. They look at whoever is holding it.
That is the actual product in this room, and it always has been. Not the women, not the setting—much like the illusion of choice in a Night Shanghai Club—it is the position of being the one who picks.
Everything else is logistics. The venue, the rent, the schedule, the fact that each person has to physically travel here and be on time.
A subscription strips all of it out and keeps the only part that was ever being sold.
You open an app, you scroll, you decide who gets your attention tonight. Same posture, same power, no room, no travel, nobody who could be late or sick or done with it.
And the thing being chosen no longer needs to exist.
This business was never selling company. It was renting out the feeling of being the buyer.
Turns out that feeling is cheap to manufacture once nobody has to show up.
